First thank you ALL for the well wishes. It means so much!
Bean did AWESOME! We got to the surgery around 6 a.m. (ick) and we went back to the room around 6:30ish. I love the ENT doc I found. He is a sweetheart!
Anyways, they came in and explained everything to me and then next thing I knew he was back in the operation room.
The whole procedure took about 15 minutes.
When Bean came out of surgery he was SCREAMING. Apparently kids have an very emotional reaction to the anesthesia. The nurse warned us about this beforehand.
So they gave him something in his I.V. and poof all was well in the world. (I totally need some of whatever he had!)
So we left there around 9:00 and have been laying around all day.
He is eating like a champ. He had 2 bowls of ice cream, a bowl of oatmeal, some rice, a Popsicle, and lots of ginger ale.
So we are heading up to the old house this weekend but I will try to post.
I need to catch up on everyone's stuff!

Yay for bean, I'm glad he is feeling better! What a champ!
I'm glad your little guy handled it well. A little crying doesn't count!!! It sure doesn't seem like it effected his appetite!
Beyond happy that everything went smoothly... and YEAH for ice cream!
so glad to hear that everything went alright! :)
Good thing the nurse warned you about the potential screaming...no one warned one of my girlfriends and she freaked.the.hell.out when her 4-yr old son woke up from surgery screaming and thrashing like that. Seems the theory is that the little guys feel all weird and stuff and kinda spaz out in response to the weird feeling from the anesthesia.
Hope the rest of his recovery goes as well as it has so far so he can go back to fwimmin'! :D
Poor little guy! I'm so glad it went well and yes, please do find out what was in that IV, because I'd like two doses please! :)
SO glad it went well. I'm sure you were a wreck!
My older son had an abdominal hernia repair, and I practically passed out with worry the moment he went into the ER.
Parenting is not for the weak. Stay strong, Bean!
I'm glad to hear it's all over. He's going to love the attention this gets him, I'm sure.
He IS a champ. I hope he continues to feel better!
I'd like a 6-pack of whatever that was... to GO please. I'm glad it turned out so well.
Good luck at the old house this weekend. Will it make you feel better to be there and start making plans for the renovations? How far is the old house from where you're at now?
I am glad the little man did well!
and please could I have a six pack as well? you see I have this boss and ...........
please
Glad to hear it went well. I am a few days behind on reading posts! If you get any of that was in the I.V. drip send it on over here. ;)
driving with the brakes on closed up shop after some of her readers became a bit 'too' concerned for her lately. Too concerned to the point of being creepy.
