OMG! I can not believe it. I am in my late twenties. Officially.
When did THIS happen? I swear it was just yesterday that I was partying it up on my 21st! Ah and what a year that was. Good times good times.
Now I know some of you are thinking, Psh she is only in her late twenties but seriously this is a tough birthday for me. I honestly think time is flying by.
Today I told Bean it was my birthday and said, "Now Mommy is getting old." I was expecting some sympathy.
Yeah right.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Mommy you an old lady!"
Thanks kid.
So in honor on Thursday thirteen I will post 13 things that I like about my birthday.
1. I get presents.
2. It is the one day out of the year that my husband HAS to bend over backwards for me.
3. I am the center of attention for the day. (I LOVE THAT PART wink!)
4. CAKE! I love me some cake!
5. I get to act a little bratty for the day. (Well I do that most days)
6. I talk to people in my family that only seem to call for my birthday. (That can be a good thing!)
7. PRESENTS!
8.My mom spoils me on my birthday.
9. So does my Dad.
10. Bud is getting better about it!.
11. I get presents!!!!
12. I get to choose the dinner menu and everyone shuts up about it.
13. I get to look back on the year and realize that I am truly lucky.
So happy birthday to me!

Awe! Happy B-day. It does go by fast. I remember being in my 20s as if it were just yesterday. When the heck did my 30s happen?!?!

Happy Birthday! I'll be 40 in September (gasp) and like you, can't figure out where the years went.
I know they say you are only as old as you feel, but damn, some days I feel like I'm 80.
